TRUTH: Starbucks DID NOT ban firearms in their stores. They requested that people voluntarily not bring their firearms inside of the stores, but DID NOT ban them.

TRUTH: Chipotle DID NOT ban firearms in their stores. They requested that people voluntarily not bring their firearms inside of the stores, but DID NOT ban them.

TRUTH: There are recorded cases where armed citizens have stopped "bad guys" with guns.

SUMMARY: Until these businesses put up signage that bans the lawful carry of firearms, MDA does not have a "victory". All of these requests equate to:

"We have to do something to get the MDA off of our back, so we will 'request' people not bring firearms into our businesses, but we will not outright ban them. After all, lawful gun owners are too big of a market share to throw away when laws have not been broken and acts of violence have not been committed."
